Jennifer has been living and working as a freelance illustrator and artist in London since graduating from Camberwell College of Arts with a degree in Illustration. Born in 1985 to British and Filipino parents, her personal work focuses on identity, belonging and a sense of place. Often linear in style, she explores traditional ink techniques and experiments with etching and relief printing.
Recently she has been working with her husband, Jack Cooke, who's new book 'A Tree Climber's Guide' is due to be published April 7th 2016 by Harper Collins, pre-order here: Amazon.co.uk . The illustrations were completed (only just!) prior to the birth of their son, Bodie. Prior to this, she had been Artist in Residence with The Vermont Studio Center on a Printmaking Residency, supported by a VSC Arts Grant and a successful Kickstarter Project.
